小時候有段時期很愛聽席琳狄翁的歌，唱到內心深處感動的感覺，聽幾次都想哭，要珍惜身邊的人。




　這是電影「因為你愛過我」的主題曲。英文片名是" Up close and personal "，台灣片商乾脆用主題曲來當片名，印證了席琳狄翁這位天后的魅力。



　電影內容是描述女主角蜜雪兒菲佛雄心壯志想要在新聞界闖出名號，她先從地方性的電視台播報氣象開始，並受到男主角勞勃瑞福的指點與提攜，一步一步成為全國電視網的新聞主播。在她最意氣風發的時候，亦師亦友的勞勃瑞福卻在一次採訪任務中喪生。這也是為何這首歌名是採過去式的寫法。



　席琳狄翁詮釋這首歌確實是不做第二人想，值得一提的卻是這首的作曲者戴安華倫( Diane Warren )，90年代的她曾經寫出多首冠軍單曲，唱片公司及歌手們都渴望能和她合作。除了" Because you loved me "，「空中監獄」主題曲" How do I live "、「世界末日」主題曲" I don't want to miss a thing "、「珍珠港」主題曲" There you'll be "等，都是她筆下極受歡迎的作品。
